Health Care Aide

Job Summary:

The Health Care Aide is responsible for providing care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the comfort and safety of clients. They work under the supervision of a health care professional and are part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help clients with mobility and repositioning.
• Administer medication as instructed.
• Maintain client's hygiene and comfort in their home environment.
• Keep accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client status to the supervising nurse.
• Participate in team meetings and training as required.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program.
• Experience in home care or related field is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• Position is in-person, with shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Travel to various client homes within the designated area.

Salary:

• $20.090 - $23.990 per hour, depending on experience.

Rotation Calendar:

• Week 1: OFF, OFF, OFF, 15:15-23:30 for three consecutive days.
• Week 2: OFF, 15:15-23:30 for five consecutive days.
