As a welder working in the Civil & Infrastructure team at Pomerlea, you will be responsables for making high-quality welds on the construction site. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the success of various construction site operations.

What You Will Do

• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding components;
• Prepare surfaces to be welded using manual and mechanical tools;
• Assemble parts to be welded according to drawing specifications;
• Use different types of welding (MIG, TIG, electric) to join parts together;
• Check weld quality by performing non-destructive tests;
• Clean and polish welds for a clean, professional finish;
• Work safely, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment,
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks as required.
  
  

This role could be for you if you have

• Valid CCQ certificate of competence;
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
• Valid driver's license;
• DEP in welding - asset
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy loads
