Millwright

We require the skills of a Millwright for a permanent night shift to join our talented Maintenance team, who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the building and equipment as required.

Position Requirements

• 12-hour night shift (7pm-7am, continental)
• New hires may rotate between days and nights for training
  
  

Duties

• Equipment Maintenance: Lead and assist major equipment installations, set-up and repairs of production machines/equipment, complete work orders;
• Building Maintenance: perform general and major repairs to building installations, including heating, plumbing and electrical, and other building equipment as required;
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
• Perform other routine maintenance work on machinery;
• Make parts, simple tools and gauges as required;
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  
  

Ideal

• Licensed Industrial Millwright with a dual ticketed Millwright and Electrician a preference;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Manufacturing Environment;
• Ability to read & interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications in order to provide troubleshooting and repair services;
• Electrical Aptitude and willingness to assist in all maintenance projects as required;
• Excellent communication skills to interact with the team, customers and suppliers about operational matters.
