Decision Support and Case Costing
TBRHSC's Decision Support Group enables and encourages the pursuit of excellence by working closely with TBRHSC's senior leadership to facilitate problem-solving, identify improvement opportunities, and support operational and related analytic requirements.
Reporting to the Manager of Decision Support and Case Costing, the Decision Support Analyst (DS Analyst) works closely with the DS Consultants on detailed financial and activity reporting, and data analysis that supports TBRHSC's performance management cycle and process improvement activities. The DS Analyst collects and reports activity statistics and supports the development of budgets.
Qualifications
Education:
- Degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, or Information Management
- Certified Professional Accountant (CA, CMA, CGA) designation preferred but not required
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in consulting, financial reporting, and data analysis, preferably in a health-related field
Skills:
- Effective communication, interpersonal & collaboration skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Team player with the ability to influence and persuade
- Proven ability to work with staff and leaders at all levels of a complex healthcare/service sector organization
- Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
- Superior skills in data management and manipulation using Excel (pivot tables, advanced filters, lookup functions, development of macros)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize workload to meet various deadlines
Salary Range: $39.979 to $47.034
