As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a key role in finding and hiring exceptional talent to help drive TEN's success. You'll lead the entire recruitment journey, from the first job posting to welcoming new team members on board. Along the way, you'll ensure a positive and engaging experience for both candidates and hiring managers. As the face of TEN throughout the hiring process, you'll showcase our culture and values, leaving every candidate with a great impression of who we are and what we stand for.

As the successful candidate you will be performing the key responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end national recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, background checks, and references, ensuring a seamless hiring process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and the Human Resources Manager to clarify job descriptions and define recruitment strategies.
  • Explore and implement creative recruiting methods, leveraging social media, job boards, and community networks to build a diverse candidate pipeline.
  • Ensure job board branding is current and work with Marketing to enhance employee branding strategies.
  • Oversee and optimize the Apprenticeship program, liaising with government agencies, managing communications, and maintaining an up-to-date Apprenticeship Matrix.
  • Utilize the ATS to track recruitment progress, generate metrics, and coach hiring managers on system use, ensuring data accuracy and insightful reporting.

To be successful you'll need to have the following skills and abilities:

  • Degree/Diploma in HR with a minimum of 3-5 year's work experience, preferable in Transportation and/or Logistics.
  • Experience with ATS systems – specifically Breezy
  • Demonstrate a high sense of urgency, self-management, ability to establish priorities, and work in both independent/team environments.
  • An excellent communicator and problem solver
  • Persistent, energetic and results driven.
  • Advanced Excel skills. Intermediate PowerPoint and MS Word skills.
  • CHRP / CHRL Designation is an asset
  • Bilingual in French is an asset
