Position Summary

River Rock Casino Resort is recruiting for a qualified individual to fill the role of Surveillance Operator. This position is responsible for monitoring of all areas of the casino property and maintaining documentation. You will be working together with a team and will be required to write and generate reports.

The Successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Monitoring, documenting and reporting violations regarding large cash/cash equivalent transactions, exclude and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access
  • Maintaining logs, recording daily reports; storing records for evidence purposes
  • Monitoring and documenting and reporting on the condition of surveillance facilities and equipment
  • Performing preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed

The Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Gaming knowledge an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail, with the ability to focus on monitors for long periods of time
  • Possess a high level of honesty and integrity
  • Adherence to high standards, methods and procedures
  • Computer proficiency
  • Background experience in Criminology an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Paid training on the job

Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including graveyards, weekends and holidays. The hours of work will be based on operational and business needs.
