Position Description:

• Adjusts and runs the gluing machine

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for operation of folding/gluing equipment
• Feeds gluer
• Assists on make-readies
• Responsible for accurate record keeping, production sheets
• Responsible for quality of product and efficiency of production
• Communicates relevant information to facilitate the flow of production
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment
• Performs make-readies on all straight line and auto-bottom boxes
• General clean up
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Attends and participates in ongoing training
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required:

• Grade 12 or acceptable experience
• On-the-job training required and/or related experience

Skills and Physical Requirement:

• Mechanical reasoning abilities
• Must be familiar and able to adhere to Company safety policies and relevant legislation
• Able to work in a team, adapt and take initiative
• Autonomous
• Good communication skills
• Capable of heavy lifting
• Strong trouble-shooting skills
