Your future role
As a Maintenance Vehicle Technician, you are responsible for providing field support for maintenance, repairs, and/or operation of vehicles in line with specified Quality standards and procedures.
As this is an industrial work environment, physical demands are in consequence (work at heights, lifting, prolonged standing, etc…). Flexibility to work on different shifts will be needed to meet with operational requirements.
While interacting daily with co-workers, external suppliers/contractors and management, all activities will be performed in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as prescribed by legislation and the ALSTOM Health, Safety & Environment policies.
Starting pay: $32.64/hour

Your future role
As a Maintenance Vehicle Technician, you are responsible for providing field support for maintenance, repairs, and/or operation of vehicles in line with specified Quality standards and procedures.

Starting pay: $32.64/hour
You’ll specifically take care of
- Complying with and enforcing EHSS policies and rules
- Performing various maintenance activities on vehicles
- Ensuring all information, equipment/parts are available and prepared for efficient execution
- Reporting activities through a Computerized Maintenance Management system
- To carry out daily inspection of the Fleet
- Technical leadership to assist / train other technicians
- To report and record incidents, any damage or shortage of parts of electromechanical equipment accurately
- To supervise and/or follow any sub contract activities
- To participate to the rescue operations of the vehicle in case of accident or a major failure

- Formal training and solid hands-on experience on various electro-mechanical systems
- Certified automotive technician and/or railway industry experience preferred
- EHS champion and field expert
- Ability to use high power tools and operate heavy machinery

- Strong supporter of teamwork with good communication & computer skills
