Accountant

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and account payables. Moreover, the candidate must be very detail-oriented, with a good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reconciling accounts.
• Manage and maintain financial records with a high level of accuracy.
• Utilize Excel functions, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP, for data analysis and reporting.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Handle high volumes of transactions while meeting deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education with an accounting background.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting (preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software (an asset).
