As a Drywall/Taper Journeyman, you'll be responsible for all aspects of drywall installation, taping, and finishing. Key Responsibilities

• Drywall Installation: Measure, cut, and securely install drywall panels, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
• Seam Taping and Finishing: Apply joint compound to seams, sand, and smooth surfaces to create a flawless base for painting.
• Surface Repair and Preparation: Address damaged drywall areas, ensuring each surface is well-prepared for painting.
• Blueprint and Project Plan Adherence: Follow blueprints and detailed plans to ensure precision in every step.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with other construction professionals, including painters and carpenters, to ensure efficient project completion.
• Job Site Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, especially in residential settings, respecting clients' homes and property.
• Problem Solving: Resolve on-site challenges effectively to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in professional drywall installation, taping, and finishing, with both residential and commercial projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in drywall techniques, joint taping, blueprint reading, and surface preparation.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work at various heights, including on ladders and lifts.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for achieving smooth, seamless finishes on drywall surfaces.
• Communication: Fluent in English, with excellent interpersonal skills to ensure positive client interactions.
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license required, with preference for candidates with their own truck/van.
