Job Description

Department Overview:

At TD Canada Trust, we build deep and long-lasting relationships with customers through customer service transactions and providing information and advice on services, products, and solutions. We ensure a positive customer experience while promoting products and services.

Do you have a passion for establishing impactful relationships with customers? We are seeking a Personal Banking Associate who can guide customers with their financial needs, including new accounts, investment advice, and banking solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and problem resolution related to banking solutions.
  • Understand customer needs and guide them to the right contact for appropriate solutions while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Educate customers on digital banking trends, including mobile, ATM, and online banking.
  • Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions; resolve critical issues and report non-standard matters to management.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance customer experience and achieve operational excellence.
  • Participate in completing business processes and procedures accurately and timely.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and consistent with regulations and TD's Code of Conduct and Ethics.
  • Promote team effectiveness and participate in personal performance development.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent – post-appointment within 6 months.
  • Preferred: Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, branch software, and internet.
  • Knowledge of banking solutions and processes.
  • Strong administration, organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Dynamic and effective influencer with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and established customer experience skills.
