What are your contributions to the team?

  • Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and problems identified on the various production lines, including, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs including cleaning and lubricating equipment, replace malfunctioning or worn mechanical components and other routine maintenance work.
  • Follow safety rules and regulations at all times.
  • The efficient and effective running of maintenance equipment.
  • Submit maintenance requisitions for spare parts as required and keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Provide information to Supervisors and Co-workers including providing guidance and expert advice on technical systems and processes.
  • Install or replace parts and components.
  • Other duties as assigned.

How to thrive in this role?

  • Must have Industrial Millwright 433A Red Seal Certificate and apprenticeship
  • Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role
  • Hands-on experience with equipment and machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work night shift.
