About the Role:

The Corus Revenue Team is looking for a dynamic and self-driven individual to join us as an Account Manager. This is a unique and thrilling opportunity to represent a diverse range of Corus brands, including premier sports partnerships with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Winnipeg Jets, across digital, social, audio, and video platforms. If you're a problem solver with a passion for sales and the energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing innovative multimedia strategies to maximize revenue, support clients, and deliver measurable ROI. You'll also collaborate closely with two iconic sports teams— the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Winnipeg Jets— to craft bespoke sports packages that capture the excitement of their fanbases and engage audiences across multiple platforms.

You will contribute by:

  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets across Video, Audio, Digital, and Streaming platforms.
  • Actively prospect and develop new business by building and maintaining strong client relationships (we’re looking for hunters!).
  • Create and manage compelling sports packages in collaboration with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Winnipeg Jets, ensuring the highest level of exposure for our clients.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate creative materials from initial sales meetings through to final ad preparation and client approval.
  • Stay informed about clients’ day-to-day challenges and offer solutions that help drive their success.
  • Maintain receivables control and ensure timely payments.

Skills and Experience You Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in business development.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong focus on generating new business and achieving multi-million-dollar revenue targets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and value propositions.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and able to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to analyze data and apply insights to create innovative, research-backed solutions.
  • A creative thinker and problem solver, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Positive, friendly demeanor with a customer-centric approach.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience in digital, audio, and video sales, with a solid understanding of industry terminology and audience measurement is preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry planning/booking software such as S4M and Wide Orbit is an asset.
  • Knowledge of social and interactive media sales is highly preferred.
