Job Description: Yard Hand
Location: Grande Prairie, AB
Schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off
Starting Rate: Starting at $23.00/hour, up to $28.00/hour based on experience

GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. is a proudly Indigenous-owned staffing company dedicated to creating long-term sustainable employment opportunities for Indigenous people across Canada. We are seeking safety-oriented, reliable, and skilled Indigenous individuals to join our team as Yard Hands.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the yard.
• Perform general shop maintenance.
• Operate skid steers and loaders (training provided).
• Handle parts runs and assist in the shop as needed.
• Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support light-duty fleet maintenance.
• Assist the inventory management team with planning, preparation, receiving, and deployment of equipment.

Requirements

• A valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of construction, industrial, or oilfield equipment.
• Experience with industrial tools (hand and power tools) is an asset.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and a self-starter attitude.
• Must have access to a personal vehicle.
• Commitment to safety and the ability to work collaboratively or independently.
