You’re invited to make a difference… as a Casual Member Services Representative (Teller)

As a casual position: although not guaranteed, you can expect an average of 24 hours per week. Shifts are full day, weekdays, and are mostly scheduled in advance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with members, asking good questions and listening to understand their needs
  • Deliver exemplary service to members in completing a variety of everyday financial transactions
  • Refer members to branch colleagues for advice and solutions relating to credit and investments
  • Bring expertise in Kindred’s distinct offering of products and services to members’ attention to answer questions and provide solutions for future needs
  • Ensure members are equipped to access digital channels so they can bank with Kindred where, when and how they want
  • This position is mobile: you will need a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel to different branch locations and you will be paid for time and mileage

What to bring

You'll be perfect for this role if you're relational (you love getting to know people), solution-oriented (you're focused on understanding the need and finding the right solution), and passionate about how our credit union does banking differently, and how we can positively impact our communities together.

As the ideal candidate, you will bring qualifications and experience in:

  • Customer service and cash handling, experience in banking preferred
  • Some post-secondary education, ideally in accounting or business
  • Expertise in MS Office & confident learning new applications
  • Active commitment to Kindred's shared values and purpose
