We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of events, ensuring that each occasion runs smoothly and meets the expectations of our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, fluency in English with Italian language as an asset, strong time management abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service with experience in high level hospitality events.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, liaising with the kitchen and chefs, venue selection, and guest services.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences while providing expert advice on event planning.
  • Manage timelines and budgets to ensure events are executed efficiently and within the agreed parameters.
  • Market events through various channels to maximize attendance and engagement.
  • Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall event experience for clients.
  • Collaborate with in-house kitchen and hospitality staff to ensure seamless service during events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process and on the day of the event, addressing any issues that may arise promptly.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination is a must.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
  • Time management skills that enable you to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in marketing or promoting events is a plus.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations is required.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors while maintaining positive relationships.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
