The Role
The Concrete Superintendent is accountable for all site safety requirements including contractor management. This position is responsible for overseeing all concrete work on a CANA site and ensuring that the physical work is completed within budget, on schedule and in accordance with the contract documents. The Concrete Superintendent is committed to minimizing the cost of the project through the efficient use of field staff, equipment, and materials.

The Concrete Superintendent is committed to minimizing the cost of the project through the efficient use of field staff, equipment, and materials.
What You Bring
- Journeyperson or equivalent qualifications
- 10-15 years of commercial concrete construction experience with a proven track record of projects being delivered on time and on budget.
- Strong knowledge of Doka, Peri, Efco
- Effectiveness in the areas of construction safety and productivity, contractor management, construction planning and execution, project organization and construction project controls.
- Possess strong communication, leadership, integration, problem-solving, interfacing, scheduling, project management and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in various software programs to implement the day-to-day site operations (drawings, deficiency lists, RFI’s, etc.)
- Procore , Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel an asset.
- Professional conduct with both internal and external customers
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Have a good understanding and/or ability to find information as needed in the OH&S regulations.
