You will expand and utilize your skills by working on challenging projects, where you can plan, direct, and monitor all aspects with varying degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning. We are currently looking for an Intermediate Conveyance Engineer to join our Vancouver office and take part in exciting and engaging water infrastructure projects of varying size and complexity. 

You will have the chance to work on key infrastructures including

  • Pump Stations - Large and small diameter watermains and sewers
  • Distribution and collection networks
  • Pressure Reducing Valve Chambers, Crossover and Isolation Chambers
  • Pipe Rehabilitation


As a Conveyance Engineer you will be responsible for supporting overall work progress and technical performance on the projects. Working with other members of our team, you'll work closely with business group project delivery leadership or other senior project manager/operations leaders who provide oversight and mentoring.

Key duties will include

  • Engineering Calculations (e.g. hydraulics, pipe design, fittings and reinforcement, material and equipment selection)
  • Technical Memos, Reports, and Specifications
  • Alignment selection
  • Chamber/Station layout and design


You’ll be working mainly from home (unless you prefer coming into the office), with the expectation to travel for client /site meetings and occasional team meetings.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or applicable discipline and/or equivalent experience).
  •  Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) as a professional engineer in the Province of British Columbia
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an engineering consulting environment.
  • Understanding of relevant American Water Works Association (AWWA) and Hydraulic Institute Standards (HIS) an asset
  • Experience designing large diameter linear infrastructure an asset
  • Experience designing municipal projects including pipelines, pump stations, PRV Stations, and Valve Chambers an asset
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
