We are seeking highly skilled Commercial Contract Lawyers with 2 to 8 years of experience to support our clients on long-term, full-time engagements. Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts such as vendor agreements, supply agreements, licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide informed advice on contract terms and conditions, collaborating with external vendors, customers, and suppliers to reach favorable outcomes.
- Identify potential legal and business risks within commercial contracts and develop strategic solutions to mitigate these risks effectively.
- Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- A minimum of 2-8 years of experience practicing law with a specific focus on commercial contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation, preferably within an in-house environment.
- Demonstrated ability in creating contract templates and managing contract databases is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and a meticulous eye for detail, with an ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
