The Program Manager will report to the Chief Scientific Officer. They are a core member of the Scientific group and will play a key role in expanding bioLytical’s rapidly growing product lines. This role will primarily be responsible for managing the launch of new products and product improvements, as well as using strong interpersonal skills for managing and achieving business objectives. You will strategize, oversee, and coordinate various project products or other strategic initiatives that are programmed within a group of related projects 


HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Manage teams across functional bound, both internal and external.
  • Manage resources in an effective and efficient manner including: new product design, development and launch activities.
  • Assist in the management and supervision of all participating staff within the program.
  • Communicate and champion the Vision, direction and accountability for program.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate strategic plans, goals and objectives.
  • Drive strategic roadmap both for product features, technology and overall business development.
  • Provide guidance and role modeling to all members.
  • Predict and forecast resources to reach objectives.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
  • Seek opportunities to make improvements to team efficiency and process.
  • Prepare and track budgets based on scope of project and resource requirements
  • Contribute to the production of program reports including materials and content.
  • Oversee program plans and tracking of progress and changes.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Project/ Program Management Professional (PMP/PgMP) certification
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life science, technology, engineering, business and/or proven relevant work experience in the medical device manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management and related experience, preferably in a research or medical device manufacturing environment
  • Track record of successfully managing projects spanning a wide range of project types
  • Experience working with Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems would be an asset 
  • Experience managing new product development projects, with proven track record in the commercialization and successful launch of new products into market
  • Strong business acumen, with an understanding of corporate finance and project valuation would be an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Experience using project management software (Microsoft Project or Wrike)
  • Knowledge and experience with In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) production requirements and ISO 13485 is an asset
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:

$100,000-$110,000

bioLytical's pay range is based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization.
