Director, Furniture, Equipment & Design

You as a Director- Furniture, Equipment and Design will:

• Lead a team of FF&E professionals and provide project support across ED FED’s portfolio of western projects
• Assume overall management and people leadership of the western ED FED team and their project assignments
• Oversee the delivery of multiple active projects at various levels of completion and continually monitor project progress
• Work with both internal and external clients to identify their FF&E needs and develop winning procurement strategies and solutions to address those needs
• Have a strong working relationship with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers and consultants
• Lead new ED FED business pursuits with a growth mindset
• Understand the marketplace and identify opportunities where ED FED can expand our services

Is this the right role for you?

• Post-Secondary Education (preferably related to engineering, business, architecture, nursing and/or interior design management)
• Previous work on DBFM and/or AFP model projects (Public Private Partnerships)
• Experience delivering large scale healthcare projects
• Knowledge of major medical and non-medical furniture, fixtures and equipment manufacturers
• Experience performing public procurement and utilizing e-procurement platforms
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs across the portfolio of western projects
• Experience as a People Leader
