Who we need
Reporting to the Associate Dean, BBA On Campus, we seek an Associate Chair, Energy Management for a full-time faculty role. This role includes a partial teaching load and leadership overseeing curriculum, industry engagement, and student experience in the Energy Management specialization. You will represent the program to prospective and current students, alumni, and industry stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role, working 2-3 days a week at our New Westminster campus.

As our new Associate Chair, Energy Management, you will:
- Act as a Course Lead for the Specialization: Mentor other course leads, participate in hiring committees, analyze student feedback, and review transfer credit equivalency.
- Network and promote: Collaborate with recruitment and marketing teams, support graduate placements, and attend events to promote the specialization.
- Act as the primary liaison with the Energy Management Specialization Advisory Panel: Participate in PSI meetings and support alumni strategies.
- Oversee curriculum development: Conduct meetings with course leads to discuss improvements and maintain curriculum documentation.
You have:
- The experience: A Master’s degree, proven teaching success, research experience, and a passion for sustainability with course development skills.
- The leadership: Visionary leadership with a collaborative approach to teaching, mentorship abilities, and problem-solving skills.
- The interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.

Compensation:
Base salary is $100-110K per year plus benefits.
