Key Functions:
- Developing and implementing silviculture treatment strategies
- Supervising contractors in planting, site preparation, stand tending, and surveys
- Participating in the annual budgeting process for the silviculture program and the annual Forestry Accrual Rate
- Working with internal and external researchers to develop new silviculture practices
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with Indigenous communities, government agencies, stakeholders, and the general public
- Silviculture recordkeeping and submission to government
- Actively participating in safety and environmental systems management
- Engaging in developmental training opportunities to gain exposure to all aspects of our business
Qualifications:
- Registered Professional Forester (RPF) or Registered Forest Technologist (RPFT) or eligible for registration
- Sense of curiosity
- Proactive safety leader with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a team or individually
- Capability to prioritize work activities and assignments
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite

What We Offer: Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, targeting a salary range of $83,400 - $120,100. Benefits: Comprehensive employee benefits plan, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
