This position contributes to the success of the company by providing oversight and direction for all new machine orders/projects throughout the entire project cycle from machine order distribution to successful completion and shipment. The Project Manager will work closely with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and sales staff to accomplish the above.

This position contributes to the success of the company by providing oversight and direction for all new machine orders/projects throughout the entire project cycle from machine order distribution to successful completion and shipment. The Project Manager will work closely with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and sales staff to accomplish the above.
- Responsible for leading all elements of multiple projects including planning and implementation of the project, facilitating project scope, schedule, goals, and deliverables.
- Plan and review project schedules, budgets, and timelines through data analysis, constantly ensuring milestones are on track, and notifying various departments and supervisors of deviations as appropriate.
- Routinely provide direction and support to internal teams assigned to a particular project by identifying issues that impact cost or delivery status.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with purchasing and shipping/receiving for proper delivery of projects and receipt of vendor supplies.
- Utilize Project Management tools including but not limited to the Company ERP (Syteline) and Smartsheet to track the progress and movement of the project through the various stages of completion.
- Maintain regular and ongoing communication with customers regarding the scope and status of the Project.
- Prepare labor resource plans and make suggestions accordingly to the internal teams.
- Identify any challenges or potential blockers to achieving project milestones and goals and implement solutions accordingly.

Who we’re looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Technology or similar.
- PMP designation is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, managing machinery or custom automation projects.
- Experience in manufacturing an asset.
- Experience in the packaging or automation industry is an asset.
- Smartsheet experience is considered an asset.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully communicate, cooperate and engage with internal and external team members, vendors, and clients.
- Sound analytical, proactive, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Keen attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to respond appropriately to pressure situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Good problem-identification and problem resolution skills.
