Position Summary
The Show Theatres at Great Canadian Vancouver and River Rock Casino Resort host various shows and events from classic rock bands to stand-up comedians, gala dinners and tradeshow events
Reporting to the Entertainment & Booking Manager, Theatres, this person will be responsible for the event support for clients as it relates to hospitality requirements for dressing rooms, basement and suites along with other required theatre administration and usher support.
Key Responsibilities & General Duties
General duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Minimum two years hospitality/dressing room experience combined with talent coordination experience.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Entertainment & Booking Manager, Theatres, this person will be responsible for the event support for clients as it relates to hospitality requirements for dressing rooms, basement and suites along with other required theatre administration and usher support.
Key Responsibilities & General Duties
General duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Represent the Company in a helpful, Courteous, and professional and customer service oriented manner.
- Receiving, tracking and responding to client inquiries as it relates to specific event requirements then working with the appropriate internal teams to ensure action is taken;
- Streamline internal communication for hospitality requests including F&B, parking, security, front desk, hotel, banquets, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date expense reports and balancing budgets for hospitality riders for bands and corporate events;
- Manage general maintenance and cleanliness of Dressing Rooms, Basement and Theatre Suite areas; report any health and safety concerns to management.
- Perform administrative duties as requested to support operational needs for theatres.
- Liaise with Sales and Event Managers to ensure that adequate staffing resources are available, taking into consideration both agreed service levels and budgetary costs.
- Provide additional usher support based on event operational needs;
- Perform all duties in accordance with the guidelines, practices, rules, policies and procedures established by GCE and BCLC.
- Coordination of event riders and requests as per clients / bands / management.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Performing other duties as assigned or directed
Minimum two years hospitality/dressing room experience combined with talent coordination experience.
- Experience working with bands, artists and public figures / talent.
- Must have valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to maintain professional demeaner with celebrity guests to ensure them a comfortable experience
- Minimum two years hospitality/dressing room experience combined with talent coordination experience.
- Demonstrated ability to accommodate and adapt to changing needs of the business in a highly pressured working environment. At the same time, proven ability to adhere to set guidelines and process adherence. Deal with higher-level complaints and recognize the need for flexibility where applicable.
- Superior organization and problem-solving abilities plus demonstrated skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality in order to deal effectively with all internal and external clients.
- Able to be diplomatic, yet assertive while monitoring staff for compliance to policy and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently orally and in writing.
- Able to work independently and also collaborate as a strong team member.
- Strong understanding for finance / expense reporting for event settlements.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends based on operational needs
- Serving it Right Certification
- Ability to clear a criminal record check
- Flexible hours are required in order to attend events after regular business hours including weekends and holidays at both Show Theatres in Richmond and Coquitlam.
