Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Process Lead executes process improvement projects and supports the Quality and Process Specialists in advancing their various projects. He/she also supports operations and ensures that knowledge is recorded in order to improve the process knowledge of all professions.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Process Lead executes process improvement projects and supports the Quality and Process Specialists in advancing their various projects. He/she also supports operations and ensures that knowledge is recorded in order to improve the process knowledge of all professions.
Responsibilities
Improvement Project Manager
- Executes process improvement projects linked to the plant's strategic plan;
- Supports quality and process specialists in project implementation;
- Facilitates workshops using a DMAIC project management approach;
- Helps identify improvement opportunities;
- Manages change brought about by new methods.
- Implements new products;
- Technical expert: Coach operations;
- Ensures line departures;
- Participates in various operational meetings.
- Manages process knowledge, ensuring its recording, dissemination and use;
- Administers and uses POKA for instructions and troubleshooting guides.
- Bachelor's degree in food or chemical science/engineering or equivalent combined with relevant experience;
- More than 5 years' relevant experience;
- Relevant experience with various “Lean” approaches;
- Interest in management;
- Be available to cover shifts as needed;
- Be available for occasional travel.
