As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles, while developing practical skills.
Specifically
- perform basic vehicale care and maintenance, including oil change, lubrication work, filter replacement, and tire rotation/replacement
- communicate with the Service Advisor and Shop Foreman to provide updates regarding the vehicle
- document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order
- road tests vehicles, as required
Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience performing vehicle maintenance, including:
- 3+ years proven experience as a Lube/Tire Apprentice Technician
- Post Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
- ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
- level 3 apprentice status active
- ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
- ability to maintain professionalism
- ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
- a desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
- a proven commitment to quality of work
