You

We’re looking for a naturally collaborative designer co-op who is eager to learn, grow and work with a range of people and teams. You should have some experience creating designs, an understanding of research and its purpose, and examples of work you did on a team.

You will help contribute to a culture of excellence and comradery, adding your passion and personality to an already high-performing, fun and collaborative office.

The role

As a co-op member of the Experience Design team, you will collaborate with customers and help shape the ideal end-user experience. You will work with product teams, and user experience professionals to understand their learning objectives, and develop appropriate activities to achieve those goals.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on creative problem solving in a cloud-driven enterprise software system.
  • Can learn how to work with a multi-disciplined UX team of designers, user researchers and product managers in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail that will help in delivering high-quality designs
  • Can share design alternatives and form rationale for decisions
  • Demonstrate a passion for iteration and eager to receive feedback.
  • Can learn how to prioritize work of varying timelines and scope.


Qualifications/Skills:

  • Pursuing a master’s degree in Product/Industrial Design, Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction or related field, graduating May 2026 or beyond
  • Portfolio demonstrating some experience producing sketches, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, task-flows or relevant design artifacts.
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • A positive and resilient personality. You must be able to embrace feedback and have a desire for continuous iteration and improvement.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to improve
  • Flexibility to work with geographically distributed teams.
  • Hybrid role with expectation that you will work from the Kitchener, Waterloo office 2-3 days per week.
  • Reside in Canada and/or attend a university in Canada.
  • Authorized to work in Canada in 2025.


Qualifications

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $20,500 - $120,000 per year.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
