Job Description

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the successful applicant will be a strong communicator with stellar organizational skills, who enjoys the thrill of completing important tasks, making a difference, and getting the job done. Be it tracking schedules, overseeing overtime, or updating key company documents, the Office Administrator will be responsible for taking care of everything that keeps an international enterprise like ours running smoothly

Responsibilities

  • Provides courteous service to visitors and employees with tact and diplomacy
  • Promotes positive employee relations and always maintains confidentiality
  • Keep Visitor Logbook updated including making sure anyone entering the facility has reviewed the required SOP’s
  • Upkeep and maintain of hourly employee files
  • Controls and orders office supplies, water ordering, and coffee supplies while ensuring adequate supplies are on hand
  • Organize multiple staff functions throughout the year
  • Organizes travel for salary employees
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma, Office Administrator Program is considered an asset
  • Computer proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of software – MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure integrity of data and confidentiality of employee information
  • The successful candidate will be detail orientated and will possess an ability to multitask in an ever changing, fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player with problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to get things done within a decentralized environment with minimal supervision
  • Positive and professional approach with willingness to learn and enjoys challenging oneself.
