ACCOUNT SPECIALIST

OwnerRelations Technology is an IT company that is growing fast. We supply a unique software solution for Property Managers and Hoteliers worldwide. We specialize in the development of robust Owner Accounting and Owner Portal software solutions for Condo Hotels, Fractional Hotels, Timeshare Resorts, HOAs, Residence Clubs, and Property Management Companies. Our client base consists mainly of 4- and 5-star Resort hotels located throughout North America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia.

THE POSITION:

We are looking for an Account Specialist to join our team in our office in Squamish. The Account Specialist must have extensive knowledge of Owner Relations Software and will be the primary contact between our Clients. Primary responsibility will be to build a strong, ongoing, mutually beneficial relationship/partnership.

This position will be focused on the client’s needs, first and foremost. Responsibilities will include keeping the clients informed of software releases and improvements, providing consultation and advice, annual pricing increases, and pricing proposals for additional and new licensing/support.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain Client relationships through listening and customer focus skills; must be approachable and patient
  • Consult with clients, review and understand their current work process
  • Maintain Client database
  • Help manage the customer contract renewal process to achieve retention quota
  • Drive increased platform adoption via customer-facing webinars to educate the existing base on new features and key product update
  • Facilitate the preparation of any software customization specifications and follow up to ensure client
  • Serve as customer advocate to all internal departments
  • Discuss requirements and explain functionality to both technical and non-technical individuals or groups
  • Help manage customer complaints.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our client's needs, industry trends and competition
  • Manage Customer Feedback and NPS plans
  • Generate reports for business and clients as required
  • Support Trade events and show when required


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven Experience in sales, customer success or account management
  • Customer-focused, approachable, and has the perseverance to succeed
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as soft skills, are a must
  • Able to be patient and maintain composure in situations
  • Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with a drive for result
  • Must be willing to travel as needed ( Canada/USA)
  • Desire to provide outstanding customer service
  • Hospitality Experience
  • Knowledge of Property Management and Central Reservations Systems
  • A strong sense of ownership in your work and unwaveringly positive attitude
  • Ability to work on more than one project at a time. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and set priorities within time constraints
  • Ideally, have a bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in Office 365 and Teams,
  • Experiences with Azure Dev Ops, Asana, Pipedrive, an asset
