The Alberta New Home Warranty Program Group of Companies (ANHWP Group), is Alberta’s most experienced and most trusted new home warranty provider and educator for homebuilders. As Alberta’s leader in new home warranty products and services for 50 years, we continue to raise the bar to meet the needs of homeowners and our Builder Members.
This position resides with The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (ANHWP) and works alongside The New Home Warranty Insurance (Canada) Corporation (NHWICC), the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta (PHBI) and Dweller Home Services.
Accountable for:
The Content & Creative Specialist will be a seasoned creative professional with expertise in writing, design, and multi-platform content creation and will play a critical role in developing high-quality content that reflects the brand identity and strategic goals of multiple companies within the ANHWP Group. They will ensure all communications adhere to established brand guidelines while contributing to the ongoing evolution of creative strategies and messaging.

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Content & Creative Specialist are:
Writing: Creating clear, engaging, and optimized written content tailored to a variety of platforms and audiences to support marketing initiatives.
- Producing high-quality content for websites, customer portals, blogs, email campaigns, social media, and print materials.
- Writing clear, engaging copy tailored to different audiences and platforms.
- Conducting research and implementing SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
Design: Developing visually appealing graphics and materials that enhance brand storytelling and ensure consistency across all mediums.
- Creating visually compelling graphics and assets for print and digital campaigns.
- Designing and maintaining templates for web pages, email layouts, brochures, and other branded materials
- Collaborating on creative concepts for campaigns and ensuring alignment with visual identity standards.
Strategy: Shaping and maintaining cohesive brand identities across multiple companies by aligning content and design with overarching business objectives.
- Collaborating with the Marketing Manager to develop, implement, and enforce brand guidelines across multiple companies.
- Conducting brand audits and recommending updates to ensure consistency and relevance.
- Working alongside the Marketing Coordinator, using analytics tools to assess content performance and applying insights to optimize future content strategies.
Additional Responsibilities: in addition to the above, the position will perform other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in content creation, marketing, or design roles
- Experience managing content for multiple brands and audiences is considered an asset.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Express), Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Canva.
- Strong command of content management systems (WordPress), customer relationship management systems (Salesforce considered an asset) email marketing platforms, and social media tools.
- Experience with SEO best practices and analytics platforms (Google Analytics).
Creative & Soft Skills:
- Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities, with attention to detail in grammar and style.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a blend of creative writing, design work, and multi-channel content execution.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving challenges.
Other:
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside regular hours for event execution, including some travel.
