Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer – Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer - Senior to join our team on a hybrid basis
- This role requires a professional with a strong background in systems, data communications, and telecommunication technology, particularly within the Azure Cloud environment
- The ideal candidate will be adept at using a variety of DevOps toolsets and possess excellent communication skills.
- 10+ years of experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux V7+, UNIX Solaris V10, Mainframe IMS Connect
- Extensive experience with WebLogic V12, WebSphere V9, Informatica V10
- Proficient in DevOps toolsets in Azure Cloud: Docker, Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Azure DevOps Pipelines, OpenShift
- Strong knowledge of git, including branching and merging strategies, collaborating via pull request, GitOps
- Experience in infrastructure as code build automation using Terraform, Ansible, Packer
- Experience in performance tuning, storage/capacity management, DB migration/upgrade, Backup/DR strategies
- Experience with clustering Load Balancers, Firewall configuration in Azure cloud
- Experience with J2EE, Java, Node.js, Azure Functions, Serverless, Pub/Sub event-driven systems, Azure App Gateway
- Experience with Informatics Power Centre tools
- Strong problem-solving, reasoning, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in supporting enterprise business and infrastructure projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
