Position Details
The Department of Housing Services requires the services of a full-time continuing Administrative Support II. The Housing office is a fast paced environment dedicated to supporting the over 1,000 students living on campus in the student residence facilities. Reporting to the front office supervisor of Housing Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Updating the Student Housing Information System
- Gathering statistical information on the application process
- Maintaining the key card inventory
- Organizing student check-in and check-out documentation
- Composing and issuing correspondence and other housing related documentation
- Posting fee charges
- Preparing move-out inspection reports and security deposit refunds
- Applying payments via Banner financial system
This position is required to liaise with various University departments and is accountable for room offers, assignments, data entry, and cash handling. The successful candidate will be student focused, have a professional attitude and be able to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
Position Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a relevant College Diploma and at least two years of prior related work experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Strong computer proficiency, organization skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment are required. Knowledge of the BANNER Financial system, MS Office, and webpage content management is an asset. Experience in delivering a high standard of customer service with clients and the public is essential, along with the ability to build effective working relationships with the University community. The ability to work independently within a team structure while maintaining effective working relationships with staff and students is required.
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$3,741.00 - $4,163.00 monthly
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$3,741.00 - $4,584.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 7)
