Office Administrator
Cavendish Agri
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Office Administrator is a key role in the day-to-day operations by providing administrative support to the branch. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, able to work in a within a team environment and has the ability to provide excellent customer service both over the phone and in person.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service both over the phone and in person (responding to order inquiries, general inquiries and create sales orders and running front-counter sales).
- Working closely with the sales department to ensure sales orders are processed in a timely manner.
- Administrative duties (reporting, filing, collecting certifications, asset inventory, etc.).
- Electronic inventory tracking (reporting, cycle counts, production reports, year-end, etc.).
- Customer accounts including customer payments, answering account inquiries, and credit policy adherence.
- Data entry, including budget sensitive entries, weekly entry and period-end reconciliations.
- Providing purchase orders and reconciliation of payable invoices.
- Assisting the corporate HR and Finance department with monthly and seasonal department deliverables.
- Provide support and correspond with Operations, Finance, HR, and Management team.
Requirements:
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service.
- Capable of working extended hours during peak seasons in the spring and fall.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team oriented with the ability to work with multiple departments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
- Comfortable learning new software programs.
- Exposure or knowledge of agronomy would be considered an asset.
