As a Manager, Digital Services, you will manage the Customer Data and Interaction team to support a diverse application portfolio. You will also be leading cross-functional application teams to deliver and operationally support digital solutions for customers through all phases within Disciplined Agile Framework in alignment with ICBC's business strategies and priorities.

Position Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years experience managing cross-functional teams and in all aspects of people management (coaching, development, performance management)
  • At minimum of 3 years experience designing and implementing digital communication solutions for customers, some examples include document production, delivery of outbound communications, utilizing customer data to provide a personalized experience.
  • Experience in designing, delivering and maintaining customer data standards and solutions, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all applications.
  • Experience in delivering customer interaction tracking solutions, understanding all customer touch-points and mapping online journey.
  • Experience in the planning and delivery of digital solutions, with proven project management skills (e.g. planning, tracking, monitoring, budget, vendor and contract management).
  • Knowledge and experience implementing some of the following technology solutions will be an asset: Kofax, Engage One, Acoustics.
  • Highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, negotiation skills, and presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

This Role Requires You To

  • Lead agile delivery teams to enable organizational change through technology innovation and deliver value to business operations;
  • Ensure projects, releases, feature upgrades, and maintenance fixes are delivered on time;
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with business and IT and other corporate stakeholders, collaborating with stakeholders to ideate and experiment with new technology to solve business problems;
  • Lead and build a high-performance team, provide inspiration and foster innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Stays informed of trends in both technology and insurance industry, focusing on continuous improvement modernizing and evolving all digital services.
  • Be a pragmatic visionary who can translate business needs into innovative technology solutions that scale both technologically and operationally.
  • Consult, communicate, and collaborate with various teams, (IT, business & 3rd party vendors) to ensure seamless integration of new solutions with timely and quality deliverables, meeting or exceed performance levels for stable operations.

Position Information

  • ICBC provides comprehensive and flexible benefit coverage to all eligible employees including a defined benefit pension plan.

  • Sick leave plan – 100% of pay for a period of a maximum of 8 weeks plus 85% of your pay for a subsequent period of up to 9 weeks.

Work Arrangements Defined

  • Resident – you will work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled work days.
  • Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
  • Hybrid 10 – you will work a minimum of 10 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
  • Mobile – you will work a significant amount of time in the field, in addition to working from an office and optionally working remotely within British Columbia.
