Clinical Research Assistant I

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit participants into all ongoing program studies - *must be available for evenings/weekends.
• Assist Study Leads with remote monitoring of all national study sites.
• Assist Study Leads with ongoing communication with sites to ensure compliance with study protocols.
• Assist with data collection, data entry, data cleaning, follow-up of various studies.
• Assist with study start-up activities (regulatory documents, training)

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):

• Secondary school diploma
• Less than 1 year of experience
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Evidence of training certification in Tri-council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonisation – Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
• Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations, as applicable
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Adheres to confidentiality policy for sensitive patient data information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• University Degree – BSc preferred.
• Bilingual preferred (English/French)
• Clinical research experience considered an asset.
• Familiarity with database software is an asset.

Compensation Pay Range: Min: $21.92/hr.- Max: $29.23/hr.
