This may be the perfect opportunity for you as our Conservation and Energy Management department is looking to hire a Program Specialist, Program Operations who will drive our conservation programs and nurture customer-centric experiences. We want you to utilize your customer-centric vision to simplify the customer experience and leverage customer insights to improve the reach and satisfaction with our programs.
In this role, you will:
- Be laser-focused on the customer journey from initial application to timely and accurate payments of rebates.
- Identify barriers and bottlenecks and implement customer feedback to evolve our program processes.
- Collaborate with internal partners to craft bespoke solutions for our customers.
- Prepare business cases and reporting for new programs or modifications to existing programs including justification and cost-effectiveness analysis.
- Manage procurement for Conservation & Energy Management projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective service acquisition and stakeholder alignment.
- Oversee purchase orders and budgets to ensure accurate tracking, timely processing, and compliance with financial guidelines, while optimizing resources and controlling costs.
What it takes:
- A diploma in business, marketing, communications or a related discipline from a recognized program, plus a minimum of three (3) years of recent, related experience in program development.
- Demonstrated customer service approach and relationship building skills with program stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skillset.
- Ability to work independently and with partners in a fast-paced environment with complex processes.
- Confident analytical skills and able to confidently make decisions based on facts and data.
- A 'get it done right' and 'can do' perspective that fosters strengthened relationships through every engagement.
In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
