The Opportunity
Employment Type: Permanent Part Time 0.55 FTE
Hours of Work: 1600 – 2200 (Mon-Fri), 1400 – 2200 (Sat, Sun and Stats)
Wages: $21.69-$23.29/hour
Duties:
Reporting to the Team Lead, BC Regional Staffing Office, you will maintain effective staffing processes: provide short notice relief staff. You will ensure complete documentation of all activities and telephone calls ensuring effective communication between the facility requesting relief staff and the relief staff booked. Ensure that appropriate personnel are notified of staffing assignments and daily staffing shortages. Duties also include clerical support, data input, maintaining filing systems and other duties as assigned by the Team Lead.
Qualifications:
Minimum Grade 12 education required. Knowledge of computer programs is essential. One to three years’ experience working in administration. Previous experience working in a staffing office with working knowledge of scheduling software (ESP) and automated call out system (ASC) is an asset. Previous HR/Payroll experience is an asset. Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to deal effectively with conflict in a diplomatic and professional manner. Adept at written and oral communication with internal and external customers.

Requirements:
- A current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and Clearance Letter prior to the hire date.
- A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
