THE TEAM

The mission of the Strategy & Operations Department is to be the thought partners for the business, collaborating to design the way Aritzia operates.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the Strategy and Operations team who is responsible for building the operating model and process tools necessary to ensure that our business is set up for profitable growth. As an Intern in Strategy & Operations, you will gain experience and exposure to internal consulting, supporting in identifying, recommending, and building the solutions that the business needs to grow while operating at the highest level of effectiveness. Our goal is that you will come out of your internship inspired, with meaningful experience and an enhanced skill set you can carry forward into your bright future.

THE ROLE

As an Intern in Strategy & Operations, you will support to:

  • Work on executive summaries and business strategies to evaluate opportunities, develop plans, and ensure optimal execution of sales driving or profit maximizing initiatives
  • Build operating model tools to design or optimize the structure of the business
  • Build the standard tools required for the business to operate such as calendars, reference material, templates, and more
  • Design or optimize full end-to-end programs that enable the business to operate at peak effectiveness
  • Collaborate with business leadership to seamlessly integrate optimized infrastructure into the day-to-day of the business

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Intern, Strategy & Operations has/is:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution, with a preferred graduation date of April 2025 to April 2026
  • Preferably pursuing a degree in Business
  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business
  • A resourceful and entrepreneurial way of working
  • A passion for Aritzia and the fashion industry
  • A logical, organized approach with an appreciation for structure and details
  • A problem solver who thinks critically to develop insightful solutions
  • Work experience in Aritzia Boutiques, Concierge, or Distribution Centres is highly valued
