Why This Role is Important:

We are looking for a hardworking and independent co-op student to support the Customer Acquisition Marketing team. You will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager with the delivery of campaigns from concept to execution. You will support in the marketing communication activities pertaining to customer acquisition for PC Money Account, which will aid in sustaining growth of the portfolio and acquiring new customers to PC Financial. Your duties will range from email and in-app campaign execution to ad-hoc creative requests to invoicing and budget management. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in relationship management, problem-solving, curiosity, organization with great attention to detail and will be able to demonstrate their project management and operational skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Gain visibility by contributing to all facets of the marketing portfolio, including acquisition, always on, in-store support, and promotional campaigns, from planning to execution.
  • Act as a liaison between Marketing, Product, Creative Agency, Legal, Data team and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in all campaigns.
  • Drive projects forward through briefs, managing creative development with the agency, media planning, and creative implementation.
  • Support in email marketing planning by writing briefs, coordinating creative development and timelines.
  • Assist in monitoring, tracking, and communicating campaign reporting.
  • Support in managing the P&L for the portfolio and ensure KPIs are achieved across various teams.
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis on customer behaviours and postmortems to drive desired function for the portfolio, present insights and recommendations for products suite.
  • Support team with ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Proofread marketing materials for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
  • Coordinate budget, including tracking, reporting, and invoicing.
  • Work with the Legal team to ensure compliance of all assigned campaigns.

  • Enrolled in a Post-Secondary Marketing program.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Project Management and time management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and analyst.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Natural curiosity and awareness of current market and business trends.
  • You pride yourself in thinking outside the box and challenging the status quo.
