Salary/Wage: $85k (CAD) to $115k (CAD)
Fedcap Canada is excited to play an integral part in the transformation of Ontario’s Employment Services system in its role as the Service System Manager for multiple catchment areas.
Fedcap Canada employees will work in partnership with service partners focused on providing tailored support for unemployed people, including those with disabilities, on their journey towards employment and into sustainable work.
Our goals are to enhance local capacity while amplifying the good work and best practices already underway.
Job Summary
To oversee day-to-day operations at Fedcap Canada, ensuring processes are in place for all operational needs and adequate support is provided to the rest of the organization as well as the Service Provider network.
Essential Functions
Travel is primarily local within the Hamilton-Niagara and Halton Catchment areas during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Essential Functions
- Ensure effective processes are in place and intercompany response times are adhered to for all processes including but not limited to:
- Service Provider organizational onboarding and offboarding.
- Service Provider staff onboarding and offboarding including access to CaMS, FedcapCARES, SP Portal, and all other systems.
- All referral sources: TRF, OW, RASP, etc., ensuring proper tracking and reporting.
- Oversee administrative staff, managing tasks and responsibilities and ensuring accuracy of work and internal SLAs / timelines.
- Oversee operations assistant staff, managing workloads and ensuring strong response times.
- Oversee both internal and external SharePoint sites and be responsible for the organization of company digital resources e.g. Zoom software/ticket system.
- Develop and maintain successful relationships with key internal stakeholders (in particular, Service Delivery, Finance, and Support teams) through influencing and challenging the status quo to improve performance.
- Develop and maintain successful relationships with key external stakeholders including the Ministry, Service Providers, and other SSMs.
- Oversee office manager and facilities, including decisions about furniture and space layouts.
- Be the knowledge and in-house expert on all operations at Fedcap Canada, understanding the roles and responsibilities of each department.
- Ensure the in-house Procurement function operates smoothly and policies, and procedures are followed to be compliant with intercompany finance regulations.
- Lead for internal company event organization and logistics.
- Oversight of Fedcap Canada mailboxes monitoring response times and quality of responses.
- Post-secondary education.
- Senior Level Operational Experience – minimum 5 years.
- Experience of partnership/contract management.
- Demonstratable change management experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to manage external relationships.
- An ability to analyze and interpret management information provide clear direction and work with others to identify problems and create effective solutions.
- Demonstrable knowledge of
- Mission, vision, and goals of Fedcap Canada and execution of relevant policies and procedures.
- Strong organizational, administration, presentation, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Demonstrable ability to
- Work cooperatively with others on a team.
- Be accurate and a precise attention to detail.
- Build strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and ethical practice.
- Navigate complex and/or difficult situations and bring about positive resolutions within the scope of responsibilities.
