Location: Hamilton

Pay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Job Duties

This position involves performing daily maintenance tasks for Oakridge Landscape Contractors, including snow removal during the winter season.

The role also includes the use of various job-related equipment and requires physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Roles And Responsibilities

Ensure equipment is stored, fueled, and in good working order.

Maintain high-quality standards in all tasks.

Operate lawn mowers, trim shrubs, and remove weeds and litter.

Plant flowers and ensure equipment is properly fueled.

Communicate with Foreperson and team about tasks and schedules.

Be prepared for on-call snow removal during the winter.

Perform physical tasks, maintain a neat appearance, and use equipment as intended.

Respond promptly to snow removal duties as needed.

Qualifications And Requirements

1 year of industry experience is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must have a valid driver’s license (G license).

Knowledge of proper mowing, trimming, edging, and weed removal techniques is an asset.

Ability to work long hours in various weather conditions.

Must be available for on-call snow removal during the winter months.

Skills Required

Self-motivated and able to problem solve.

Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Ability to perform physically demanding work.

Respect for staff, clients, and on-site safety.

Tolerance to various weather conditions, especially during the winter snow removal season
