The primary responsibility of the Clinical Training Manager is to build and implement clinical training plans and strategy around our existent and forthcoming products for our internal clinical team and our external CPT partners. Additional key responsibilities will be to liaise with internal business functions (medical, marketing, sales) to help define customer requirements and to address customer experience gaps and to collaborate with external partners (Glooko, CPT’s) to ensure consistency and excellence in clinical support provided to patients as we work to simplify life with diabetes.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinical expert to support ongoing clinical training of external clinical stakeholders to drive understanding and knowledge of the Omnipod System
- Develop/support go-to-market strategy and provide ongoing learning, training, development, and communication needs to internal team ensuring positive customer experience related to the OP System.
- Provide guidance on the development and maintenance of product and training materials including digital training tools, product packaging and customer resources
- Support planning, ongoing development and execution of product improvements with key stakeholders
- Create effective practices to disseminate key product feature feedback from end users (HCPs and PWDs) and establish strong relationships to the internal upstream marketing organization Conduct field sales/clinic training co-travel to uncover product and training needs for HCPs and PWDs
- Serve as voice of key stakeholders for training and accountable for product meeting consumer expectations
- Serve as clinical training expert related to clinical product training
- Other duties as required
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant clinical and commercial experience in the medical device industry.
- Clinical credentials are preferred (diabetes educator – nurse or dietician)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical training programs within the medical device / pharmaceutical industry
- Prior experience leading a Sales/Clinical team with a commercial diabetes organization preferred
- Self-starter that is assertive, possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity, and demonstrates good executive presence.
- Ability to analyse complex situations, draw conclusions and suggest improvement building on prior experience
- Proven track record of consistent performance in meeting or exceeding expectations Ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, coaching and development skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. Up for the challenge to get creative and flex your communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working through change across functional areas and at varying levels of the organization PC skills, word processing, spreadsheets, database, PowerPoint, Excel
- Travel will vary weekly based on business needs, travel is expected to be 20-30% on average; Relocation not required
