Position: Industrial Security Guard
Location: 180 Watson Parkway S. Guelph, ON.
Schedule: Shifts are 12-hour shifts from 0700 to 1900 on a continental rotation.
Hourly Pay Rate:$20.05

What does a Security Guard in Guelph do?
- Access control through the computer system
- Conducting routine patrols
- Access control, logging visitors, trucks and trailers entering/exiting
- Checking temperatures on refrigeration trailers
- Report writing, responding to emergencies and general assistance calls.
- Camera surveillance of access gates and parking barriers
- Greet customers and register visitors as needed
- Manage contractor access as well as access cards
- Perform daily reports and incident reports
- Act as first responder during events, crisis situations and emergencies
- Perform surveillance rounds
- Occasionally escort maintenance in restricted areas
- Unlock and lock certain areas during monitoring rounds and via Lenel systems
- Escort employees late at night, to their car in the parking lot

- Must be comfortable with 45 – 60 minutes of periodic exterior foot patrol
