Join our team as the Director, Enterprise Infrastructure! In this strategic role, you’ll be collaborating with IT Operations, Applications, Governance and Cybersecurity to design and lead the architecture of server, network, storage and cloud platforms. You will define the roadmap for Infrastructure and oversee implementation and maintenance.
We are ideally seeking a candidate located in Delta, BC.

The expected compensation for this position is between $133,000 to $149,300 annually considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications. We are ideally seeking a candidate located in Delta, BC.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Developing strategy for architecture, platforms, cybersecurity, etc. to support our growth over the 5-10 years across Canada and the US
- Leading, training, and mentoring System Administrators
- Staying current with technology trends; obtaining and maintaining Infrastructure and Cybersecurity related professional designations
- Leading and overseeing infrastructure projects aligning with our strategy
- Ensuring performance, availability, and security by continuously improving and documenting our Enterprise Infrastructure
- Performing ticket management, handling complex issues directly, urgent break fix, and providing third level support for clinics
- Liaising with Infrastructure and Cybersecurity vendors and partners
- A University degree or College diploma in Computer Science
- 10 years of progressive work experience in IT Infrastructure, Operations, and/or Engineering including 5 years of people management and 2 plus years of strategic Infrastructure leadership and architecture
- Professional designations in Server, Network, Storage, Cloud, and Cybersecurity
- Strong technical background in web services, Microsoft technologies, and cloud technologies (e.g. MS Windows, PaloGlobal Protect VPN, MS Azure, AWS, Meraki)
- High competency with Active Directory, Radius, DHCP, Group Policy, DNS and other Infrastructure technologies
- Strong virtualization skills (using VMWare, Azure VM or Hyper-V)
- A solid understanding of database systems such as MS SQL or Managed Instance
- Scripting experience and familiarity using PowerShell
- Familiarity with Monday, Jira, and Fresh Service applications
- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodology, enabling success and efficiency in an Agile environment
- Experience in conducting Threat/Risk Assessments and penetration tests.
- Instinctive troubleshooting skills with an ability to tenaciously solve problems, including network issues up the OSI model
- Ability to train personnel in advanced technical skills and mentor team members
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset
