Position Summary

The Operations Manager is a strategic role that plays a critical part in optimizing organizational efficiency and effectiveness. This part-time remote contract (1099) position is designed for an experienced professional who can oversee daily operations while aligning them with the company's long-term strategic goals. The individual will work closely with various departments to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of operational goals with business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee project management initiatives to ensure timely delivery and effective resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in a remote environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of project management software and operational management tools.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in process optimization and change management.
  • Familiarity with financial management and budgeting practices.
