Program and Training Specialist, Property Operations

PROGRAM & TRAINING SPECIALIST, PROPERTY OPERATIONS – COLLINGWOOD, ON OR SURREY, BC

Maternity Leave coverage. Mostly remote role. Some travel would be required.

Reporting to the Program & Training Manager, the Program & Training Specialist is the bridge between IT and Property Operating staff. They will collaborate on the creation of standard operating procedures, policies and process documentation that support Parkbridge’s annual business cycle and strategic plans. Collaboration includes understanding overall system and processes used by the Operations teams to support process redesign and system enhancements along with training of such processes.

This role is seen as the Subject Matter Expert on the System and Processes used by Operations team and is responsible for identifying and championing process enhancement opportunities.

To be successful in this role, the Program & Training Specialist, Property Operations will have experience creating end to end process flow documents, a desire to understand end to end operating processes and how they interact with other areas of the business and deliver training to various audiences in various locations.

Responsiblities

• Partners with IT as the subject matter expert on large projects to roll out new functionality to users.
• Leads smaller process improvement and system enhancement initiatives within Property Operations.
• In collaboration with IT, manages Property Operations tickets related to system misuse and process issues.
• Property Operation system configuration and system audit evaluations.
• Works with stakeholders to ensure updated training material, including the processes, procedures and policies within Parkbridge’s National Standards.
• Working with the manager, design, document and maintain effective tools and processes to support and drive performance of the Property Operations portfolio.
• Deliver New Hire System Onboarding training for Operational team members.
• Support and encourage property teams on the correct use of the system and standard processes.
• Share observations which will influence the system configuration and operating process design.
• Liase with all Operations stakeholders to obtain appropriate information to develop solutions and enhancements to current operating processes.
• Support Project Management & Execution of Operation focused initiatives including: planning, requirements gathering, risk mitigation, reporting, change management.
• Support IT team on System Integrations, Upgrades, New product launch etc.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 18 months of experience in Parkbridge's resorts or residential operations.
• Proficiency in using Yardi software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Previous experience in training and facilitation is considered an asset.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel across Canada as necessary (limited travel required).
