The Opportunity
Venturis is looking for an organized and team-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Coquitlam, BC. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner and processing payment requests from multiple business units.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Accounts Payable Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:
- Pull, print, match, and mail weekly cheque run and bi-weekly electronic payments
- Process cheque requests from various departments
- Conduct high volume review of invoices against payments
- Follow up on outstanding cheques
- Update daily payment report and send report to corporate treasurer
- Create and manage wire, ACH, and EFT templates with the bank
- Set up payment and send issue file reports to the bank
- Regularly update cheque clearing list
- Set up new vendors in ERP system
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- At least one year of related accounts payable experience
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills, planning skills, and multitasking ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Ability to think outside of the box, solve problems, and identify solutions

The base pay range for this role is: $45,000-$52,000, depending on experience.
This is a hybrid role based in Coquitlam, BC. Please note that work can be performed from home three days per week.
