Job Title: Resident Manager Team (2-person role)
Reports to :District Manager
Position Description : The Resident Manager team is responsible for the overall performance of the property and staff. This includes maximizing profitability and maintaining established operational standards, leasing, property administration, and expense control. The Resident Managers will ensure the physical maintenance of the building and surrounding areas, while also providing leadership, management, and training to their team.

- Greeting and interacting with residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Process leasing applications including completion of background and credit checks
- Ensure rents are collected and deposited on a timely basis
- Follow up with residents to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including foyers, amenity rooms, underground parking garage, locker rooms, patios, and rooftops
- Perform thorough cleaning of vacant units, including appliances, floors, walls, windows, kitchens, washrooms, and balconies, ensuring they are move-in ready
- Foster an environment to support ongoing development for staff members
- Organize, promote and execute residential events (i.e. Holiday parties, summer barbeques)
- Background in residential property management or related business experience (office administration, skilled-trade, handyperson)
- Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with residents, prospects, colleagues and trades
- Management skills to coach, train, and motivate staff and develop a team environment
- Ability to perform minor repairs and an aptitude for mechanical systems
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, items could include garbage bins, furniture, appliances or while performing snow removal duties, sometimes for extended periods of time
- Good written and verbal communication skills
