We are seeking a talented, energetic students to join the Accounting team in our Milton, ON location as an Accounting Co-Op Student.
This role is for a duration of 4 months (May – August) and completely onsite.

What you will be doing :
- Posting payments to customer accounts from various sources such as EFT/ACH/Wire, credit/debit card payments, and unapplied cash.
- Responding to customer inquiries, ensuring excellent customer relations, and performing root cause analysis.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external customers to support Accounts Receivable initiatives.
- Assisting with pulling D&B credit reports and updating customer files.
- Contacting credit references and reviewing customer credit history.
- Managing delinquent accounts by contacting customers via phone, email, and mail for collection.
- Reconciling account discrepancies, processing adjustments, and maintaining accurate customer records.
- Supporting month-end activities including account clearing, reconciliation, and sending monthly statements to customers.
- At the end of your assignment, you will have the opportunity to share information about your experience with other students and with ROCKWOOL management.
- Currently pursuing a diploma, certificate, or degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- Previous experience in an accounts receivable or credit & collections role is a plus, but not required.
- Proficient in written and spoken English at a professional business level.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy in tasks and data handling.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel), with a willingness to learn SAP FI/CO module.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in data.
- A proactive approach to learning and a commitment to completing tasks with diligence.
